Yuval Yosifov - ''Landscape'' 2021. Oil on canvas, framed 32/34 cm Signed  The first solo exhibition of the young and promising painter Yuval Yosifov (1996) was held at the Rothschild Gallery towards the end of 2023. The exhibition featured figurative oil paintings abstracted from observation. The leading painting values ​​in her paintings are values ​​of stain and form, color and tonality, a thought about abstract painting, and an understanding that a good painting can only feel real when it stems from a painterly understanding. Jubilee is driven by an observation of the history of art, and pictorial arrangements guided by great painters from the beginning of time. From ancient Greece and the fresco paintings in Pompeii, the Fayums in Egypt, Holbein and Cranach, Memling, Vermeer, Degas and Jared and Sieckert, Inger, Baltus and Nicholson, to Edwin Dickinson and Leonard Anderson, Victor Mann and Rita Natrova. Yosifov, born in Tel Aviv, is a gifted artist and painter. She completed her master class studies at the Studio for Drawing and Painting in Jerusalem under the guidance of Israel and Yedidiya Hirshberg and Deborah Sabaon. (2018-2022)  She studied at the Hatachana Studio with David Nipo and Aram Gershuni.  She studied painting in summer courses in Italy, and various courses around the world.
