This is the first time the work is offered for sale.  Katia Lifshin is a very successful young international artist, represented in Israel by the Nasima Landau Gallery, her works sell for tens of thousands of dollars. Katןa is known for her surreal amorphous paintings, and the international art world is praised for her ability to use a single color in all its shades to create a vibrant painting. In the pair of works before you (the above work and the work after it), the use is particularly rare because it is gray and not green/blue. A bargain for collectors, not to be had! Oil on canvas  30/30 cm Signed Katia Lifshin (b.1993) is a Ukraine-born Israeli artist. Using mainly a blue and green color palette she creates a dream-like world in which there is room for surreal elements. In her paintings the main characters are often young girls and women, and the focus and attention is on their identity, self-image, feelings. Katia relocated to the U.S in 2012, studied painting and sculpting at Pima College, Tucson, Arizona.
