Israel Kabala - Untitled, 2025. Oil on paper, framed 24/18 cm Signed  Israel Kabala  (1984) is one of the most prominent artists in Israel in the last decade.  His spiritual father is Moshe Gershuni. Kabbalah has presented comprehensive exhibitions in museums in Israel, and his work can be seen today in the exhibition 'Material Imagination' at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art.  His works are in museum and private art collections. He presents his works for sale at the Tel Aviv Givon Gallery. Israel Kabala is a self-taught artist who would have preferred to be a musician. ”I have a hard time in the world of plastic art, ” he says. ”I'm more connected to musicians, and even though I'm a painter, if I could choose, I would be a musician, because in the Israeli art world there is no place for everyone. A successful artist creates resentment and antagonism. In music, those who are much more successful are embraced. Even though my exhibitions and works have sold well in the past to collectors in Israel and abroad and to museums, I myself, as an autodidact, felt as a young artist the alienation of the art world.'' In his latest exhibition at the Givon Gallery, musician Ehud Banai created the poem ”Reception and Giving” for the exhibition, inspired by the artist and his work. Since October 7, the artist has treated his works as a kind of amulet, a means of protection.  The series of works presented in this sale were presented in Kabala's latest exhibition.
