Limor Matisiss - Quiet Landscape, 2019. Oil on canvas framed 40/30 cm Signed  Limor Matisiss Barnea was born in Haifa in 1960. She studied art in Cologne, Germany and, among other things, participated in workshops on engraving, anatomy drawing, restoration and even stage design for four years. She later studied fashion design at the WIZO Haifa Academic Center. She also studied in Jerusalem in an artist's class with Israel Hershberg. Since then, her paintings have been based on quiet and direct observation of the changing reality - landscapes in Modi'in, flowers, nudes and portraits in an attempt to penetrate the essence of realism. Her works are in private collections in Israel and abroad.
