Linoleum is unforgiving, a wrong cut is, well, a cut. So I had to learn to let go, and the process is a big part of my art. Also, taking life less seriously is an important part of my art, which comes with laughing at myself and life. It's all just very funny, and I have enough seriousness and worry to bother me in life. By creating my art, I get a win-win, because I remind myself that my work is a process of progress within myself, and I laugh at my hiccups and failures in life, so they become smaller and easier to deal with. And most of all, I hope that when you look at this you can smile and realize that life is comical. The process, thinking, drawing, cutting and printing, is why I create. The result is just a cool bonus, looking good framed on your wall.''
