Niva Harsgor Hendin - ''Catch 1'' 2024. Oil on canvas 50/50 cm Signed  For the first time in KooKoo, meet the artist Niva Hersgor Hendin- A surrealist painter, uses a palette of contrasting colors that create wonder. On the one hand, she stimulates the eye with intense colors and on the other hand maintains harmony and delicacy. She paints mostly with thin brushes for a sense of control over the work. She perceives the work as an aesthetic experience. Niva often uses the color pink because it is a childish, naive color, a color of innocence. In its nuances, it is a sensual color, sometimes disturbing, bordering on red, which may indicate danger.  Her works seem like fragments from dreams and fantasy.  Niva places the subjects of her work in a dreamlike, seemingly protected world, in which the seeds of doubt, anxiety, and detachment are planted. Niva focuses on several themes in her work, the first theme is the child's vision. The young child's perspective. The innocence that captivates the artist's heart. The second theme - the deer. My deer are imprisoned in a hall, a prison, torn from their natural habitat. The other theme she deals with is the story of Eve eating the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden. 2016-2017 Independent studies with leading private teachers. 2012 Art Seminary, Program for Active Artists, Ramat Gan Museum of Art. 1998 Art Seminary Workshops, Beit Berl College B.A. in History, Tel Aviv University
