Vered Aharonovich - ''you can have them'' 2012. Polymer and glass eyes 42X30X20 cm Edition 2 of 6  Signed Vered Aharonovitch, a well-known Israeli artist who is responsible for the wonderful work ”The Fountain” at the Ilana Gur Museum. The fountain is made of fiberglass and water pumps and depicts a victory scene of six redheaded girls against the sea god, Poseidon and is located on the roof of the Ilana Gur Museum Aharonovitch (1980) is an Israeli artist and sculptor with a bachelor's degree in art from Bezalel and a master's degree in art from the University of Haifa. Vered creates realistic sculptures, figures detailed in the details of the dress and facial features. The characters are often in painful or difficult human situations but sometimes also prone to humor. The main character that Aharonovitch creates is one redheaded girl, who repeats her sculptures in different scenes and presents a wide range of emotions through her. According to Aharonovitch, ”To this day, I have mostly sculpted this girl, who has accompanied me, all these years, from the paintings. The girl was a kind of my spokesperson, and she expressed the content I wanted to express.” Vered's last exhibition was presented in 2019 and was called ”The Cuckoo's Clock” (curated by Dr. Aya Lurie) and was held at the Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art
