Oil on wood 30/21 cm Signed For the first time in KooKoo, meet the artist Boris Cohen (1986) - Boris immigrated to Israel from the Soviet Union a few months ago, he was captivated by the charms of ancient Acre and has lived and created there ever since.  Through the naive eyes of the new immigrant, a bright and happy country is reflected, most of his paintings look like a souvenir postcard from a vacation to which one dreams of returning. Boris's apartment is close to the sea, where he regularly goes down and paints the landscapes in a state of love intoxication.  Boris paints in the open air and never in a studio; a few sessions in front of a scene he has chosen will be enough for him to fill a canvas with an open and inviting landscape. The artist paints with an impressionistic approach, capturing a moment in time in his paintings. The artist studied art at the Moscow Academy of Arts and had many exhibitions in the Soviet Union.
