Yifat Glassman - ''Angel in the Dark'' 2025. Oil on wood 35/28 cm Signed For the first time at KooKoo, welcome to the Yifat Glassman (b. 1981) - Yifat is an Israeli-American artist who specializes in figurative painting and the study of the human figure. Her work explores the human spirit through the naked body, exploring the language of movement and the body's expressions as a mirror to the soul. Her paintings combine a deep understanding of anatomy with a sensitivity to color, light, and shadow. The interplay between light and dark in her works is not only visual, but also emotional—an expression of questions of vulnerability, power, and longing. Yifat is a graduate of the Georgetown Atelier (Seattle, 2013). She also studied at the Seattle Sculpture Atelier, The Animation Guild, and Brainstorm School, and finally devoted herself to extended studies with artist Alexey Steele. For over a decade, Yifat has been teaching art, alongside her work as an art model – an experience that deepened her understanding of the nonverbal communication between body and soul, between creator and viewer. Her paintings express the human truth that lives beneath the experience of everyday life – hidden feelings of love, loneliness, and emotional exposure, and illuminate them in a new light through the encounter between light and color, between silence and power.
