Merav Kamel (1988) and Khalil Balbin (1987) are an artist couple who have been working together since 2012.


The couple has won several prestigious art scholarships and awards, and has exhibited together and separately in dozens of exhibitions. 
Their works are in major art collections in Israel.

Their artwork incorporates various expressions of humor, imagination, and a provocative stance. According to the couple, these aspects help them look into dark, sensitive, revealing, and painful aspects of human, personal, and social experience.

In addition, there is a clear challenge to the various mechanisms that constitute culture, thought, society, and representation.
The language that characterizes their work is characterized by diverse materials and techniques, such as: soft sculpture, painting, drawing, engraving, relief and installation.
