Clay with black iron oxide - single sculpture without copies Height 21 cm, width 54 cm, depth 21 cm Signed Shani Shemesh, born in 1986, is a figurative artist who mainly deals with the medium of sculpture, comes from the origins of classical sculpture and strives to create a connection to modern art. ”During the years of my work, my sculpting style changes and varies between realistic sculpture (which is created while working with a model) and intuitive expressionistic sculpture which comes from the imagination. The main material in which I sculpt is clay, this is the original, initial material of the work process, after which I build molds and begin the second half of the sculpting work - the casting stage. The casting of the sculptures is done in a variety of different materials and cuts which give me the opportunity to change the work over time, when each sculpture has several different faces, sometimes it will be a casting of the entire statue in its entirety and sometimes only certain cuts which create interest and curiosity.׳׳
