Over the years, she mastered the fundamentals of realistic painting on her own, driven by exceptional self-discipline, curiosity, and perseverance. Since 2022, she has been studying under the artist Matan Ben Cnaan, who regards her as a promising young talent within the contemporary generation of painters. Ashkenazi lives and works in Haifa’s Hadar neighborhood—a city characterized by a vibrant, evolving, and independent art scene. Her work has been featured in several group exhibitions across the city. Working in oil, graphite, and charcoal, she focuses on portraits, everyday scenes, and landscapes. Her paintings are distinguished by a sensitivity to detail, meticulous realism, and the use of dramatic lighting, transforming ordinary moments into images imbued with presence and emotional depth.
