Model Katya Gali rose to fame primarily through the international campaigns in which she starred. She is a familiar face from fashion magazines, television commercials, the *Big Brother VIP* house, and more. After years of dazzling success, Gali developed a drug addiction and ended up homeless. Today, at 54, following an impressive rehabilitation process, she is completing her art studies at Shenkar. The artist—who must begin every morning by taking several psychiatric pills to maintain mental balance and function—shares her moving story through painting in a particularly colorful series titled ”Pill Generation.” Gali, who lives and creates in South Tel Aviv and is truly a promising young artist. Since beginning her studies, her art has taken an interesting, revealing, and honest turn.
