1878 French L.P. Japy & Co. Green Marble Figural Mantle Clock - 1878 French L.P. Japy & Co. Green Marble Figural Mantle Clock. The clock is made of green marble with gilt metal decoration. The top features a gilt metal male figure with a snake around his arm. The plate he is holding is threaded inside and there may have been a basket or other item attached at one time. The clock is not currently running and is missing the key. Measures approximately 23” tall x 9” across x 5” deep. Brass movement is marked L.P. Japy & Co. 1878.
