Original Unsigned William Scagel Crown Stag Hunting Knife w/ Sheath & Book - People would often bring Bill various kinds of steel wanting him to make a knife from it. The book included with this knife goes further into detail of this. Knife has all of the tell tale signs of being an original Scagel with the trailing point blade, brass guard, many multi colored spacers, and a dual pinned crown stag handle. The sheath features leather bindings around the edges, and a hand stamped design on the front. Knife is in nice overall condition sharpening scratches on the blade edge, carbon spotting on the blade, some dings on the brass guard, and general wear from age. The retaining strap on the sheath is broken. Comes with the William Scagel book and a carrying case. Blade length measures 7in and overall 11-5/8in.
