Bore is nice and bright with good rifling., Description: Comes with an original complete RG34 K98k cleaning kit that tells the story. Rifle came from a private estate with both the rifle and the kit. The kit is marked with the name Standke for the German Panzer-Grenadier soldier Richard Standke KIA Feb 22, 1944 in Aprilia, Italy. The other side of the kit is marked with initials PC for Paul Couture 719th Railway Battalion Company A stationed in Aprilla, Italy on Feb 22, 1944. Both the rifle and kit were captured as souvenirs. Rifle is an early 243 code Mauser with inspection marks on the left side of the receiver and barrel, Waffenampt 28 on the right side of the receiver, other scattered Waffenampts, and three Waffenampts cartouches on the right side of the stock.
