Unique African Lion Claw Porcupine Quill Shadow Box Display INDIANA RESIDENTS ONLY - Unique African Lion Claw Porcupine Quill Shadow Box Display. INDIANA RESIDENTS ONLY. This display came from a mercy killing of an emaciated lion from Botswana. This lion was cast out of its pride and attacked by other lions. By the time this lion was shot he weighed only 100 pounds. In desperation the lion consumed a porcupine which led to even more suffering. In the end the lion was ethically hunted and its suffering was put to an end. The display includes two of the claws from the lion, quills that were found inside the stomach, and a lion belt buckle center piece. The bottom of the plaque gives the interesting story. Included is a photo of the lion after the hunt. Display measures 17 1/2“ wide by 36“ tall by 4“ deep.
