Meriden Long Tom Vintage Single-Shot 16Ga Shotgun - Meriden Long Tom Vintage Single-Shot 16Ga Shotgun. The Meriden Long Tom Vintage Single-Shot 16Ga Shotgun is in nice used condition. The barrel measures 36 inches in length. The wood grip is in used condition having cracks at receiver and from upper and lower tangs along with crack on left side of forearm and still obtains repaired recoil plate and grip plate. The finish is brown patina and worn on edges. Barrel has a small ding at top where it meets receiver but locks tight. Produced as an inexpensive, utilitarian ”hardware store” gun, the Long Tom is most notable for its extra-long 36- or 40-inch barrel and was primarily offered in 12- and 16-gauge. SN:117948.
