J. Stevens ”Favorite” Model 1915 Single-Shot Boys .22 Caliber Rifle - J. Stevens ”Favorite” Model 1915 Single-Shot Boys .22 Caliber Rifle. The Model Stevens Model 1894 Single-Shot Rifle is in nice used condition. The Full octagon barrel measures 23-1/8 inches in length. The bore is clear with visible pitting. The wood stock is in nice used condition with normal wear. The stock still retains plastic recoil plate. The metal finish is brown patina that has been oiled. The rear sight is adjustable for elevation and front is original fixed. The lock-up is tight but lever has some play. Antique ”boys' rifles” from this era were engineered for low-pressure black powder or early smokeless rimfire ammunition. Do not fire modern hi-velocity ammunition in this firearm. SN: A 345.
