Griechische Bronzeschale 5. Jhd. v. Chr., - Griechische Bronzeschale 5. Jhd. v. Chr., Expertise Nr. 12008 vom Antiken-Kabinett Bernd Gackstätter: Griechische Bronzeschale 5. Jh. v. Chr., Höhe 4,8 cm, Dm 12,4 cm, Henkelbreite 17,8 cm, FO: Nördliches Griechenland, Prov. Slg. Yeganeh, Bronze mit Kaltarbeiten. Fleckige rotbraune bis grüne Patina. Die Schale hat ein tiefes ausgeladenes Becken und steht auf einem ausgestellten Fußring. Der Boden hat mehrere abgedrehte Zierrillen. Den Halsbereich markieren eine Doppelrille, danach ist die Wandung schwach eingekehlt. Der überkragende Mündungsrand schwingt sanft aus. Die Halszone ist auch im Schaleninneren abgesetzt. Am Gefäßbauch sind gegenständig zwei aufwärts strebende Schlafenhenkel angesetzt, deren Enden sich zur Lippe hin zurück neigen. Ein Henkel ist ergänzt, Riss im Boden, Provenienz: Antiken-Kabinett Bernd Gackstätter gekauft am 21.4.04 Messe Köln, seitdem Privatsammlung Niederrhein Expertise No. 12008 from the Antiquities Cabinet Bernd Gackstätter: Greek bronze bowl, 5th century BC, height 4.8 cm, diameter 12.4 cm, handle width 17.8 cm, FO: Northern Greece, Provincial Collection Yeganeh, bronze with cold work. Mottled reddish-brown to green patina. The bowl has a deep, protruding basin and stands on a flared foot ring. The base has several turned decorative grooves. A double groove marks the neck area, after which the wall is slightly grooved. The overhanging mouth rim curves gently outwards. The neck zone is also stepped down inside the bowl. Two upward-pointing temple handles are attached to the belly of the vessel, the ends of which slope back towards the lip.
