Große blau-weiße Teller mit Qilin-Dekor, China Kangxi-Periode, - Große blau-weiße Teller mit Qilin-Dekor, China Kangxi-Periode, Porzellan, China Qing Dynastie Kangxi-Periode (1661-1722), großer blau-weißer Teller mit Qilin-Dekor, Vergleich: Ähnliche Objekte in der ”Chronik der Volksöfen in der späten Kangxi-Zeit” des Archäologischen Instituts Jingdezhen (Nummer KX-1720), Schale mit Kirin-Muster, 1717, aus dem British Museum (Sammlungsnummer PDF. 1721), der Teller in kräftigem kobaltblau unter der Glasur, im Spiegel detailreich bemalt mit einem schreitenden Qilin (mythisches chinesisches Fabelwesen, Symbol für Glück und Tugend) in einer Landschaft mit Felsen, Pflanzen und stilisierten Flammenwolken. Boden mit Vierzeichenmarke ”Yu Tang Jia Qi” in doppelter Kreislinie, H 8,6 cm x D 36,7 cm Porcelain, China, Qing Dynasty, Kangxi Period (1661-1722), large blue and white plate with Qilin decoration. Comparison: Similar objects in the ”Chronicle of Folk Kilns in the Late Kangxi Period” of the Jingdezhen Archaeological Institute (number KX-1720). The plate is in strong cobalt blue under the glaze, the center richly painted with a striding Qilin (a Chinese mythical creature, symbol of good fortune and virtue) in a landscape with rocks, plants, and stylized clouds of flame. The base bears a four-character mark ”Yu Tang Jia Qi” within a double circular line. H 8.6 cm x D 36.7 cm.
