E. Pierzyński (Polska, XX w.) - A speeding trio in a winter landscape. E. PIERZYŃSKI (Poland, 20th century) A Three-Horse Riding in a Winter Landscape oil on canvas 60 × 90 cm, 77 x 107 cm (with frame) Framed in a beautiful gilded frame signed: ”E. Pierzyński” A dynamic scene of a winter sleigh ride. Three horses, depicted in full motion, emerge into the foreground from a vast, snow-covered landscape. The artist focuses on the tension of the horses' silhouettes, the rhythm of the harness, and the impression of speed, which contrast with the tranquility of the surrounding, almost deserted space. The composition is built on a cool palette of whites, blues, and grays, broken by the browns and blacks of the horse silhouettes. Broad, free-form brushstrokes in the snow and sky give the depiction a painterly lightness, while the more carefully crafted horses create a distinctive centerpiece.
