Vasi Giuseppe - Villa antica con scena di Giostra (Antique Villa with a Scene of Joust ) - Etching on paper (1774) - Beautiful Proof, showing the second complex apparatus for firework built in occasion of the Feast of S. Peter and Paolo (29th June 1774) by the “Cavalier” and “Architect” Paolo Posi. This wonderful Etching, representing a Villa with antique monuments with a scene of Joust, is engraved by the “Cavaliere” Giuseppe Vasi, on the drawing by Giuseppe Palazzi. Signed on plate lower margin. Original Title with a detailed capture under the picture. In Very Good condition, with a little stain lower-right corner. Ref: G.
