[ART] - EZEKIEL Moses Jacob (Richmond, VA, 1844 - Rome, 1917) - Autograph letter signed, not dated, by the American sculptor - EZEKIEL Moses Jacob - Autograph letter signed, not dated, by the American sculptor. After the war, he completed his degree at VMI, and a few years later went to Berlin, studying at the Prussian Academy of Art. He subsequently moved to Rome, where he lived and worked most of his life, selling his works internationally, including several commissions in the United States. Ezekiel presumably addresses the composer Giorgio Barini (1864 - 1944), concerning a meeting: “…Lei si e sbagliata. Io dicevo Venerdi. e non giovedi. e mi duole di aver ricomodata la lista Signora unitamente…”. 1 p. In-8.
