[HISTORY] - MUSSOLINI Benito (Predappio, 1883 - Giulino di Mezzegra, 1945) - Photographic portrait with autograph dedication signed - MUSSOLINI Benito - Photographic portrait with autograph dedication signed, dated “19 ottobre 1923” by the Italian politician and journalist who, upon assuming office as Prime Minister, became the dictator of Fascist Italy from the March on Rome in 1922 until his overthrow in 1943. Mussolini dedicates his portrait to his faithful companion, military officer Costanzo Ciano (1876 - 1939). His son Galeazzo was husband to Mussolini’s daughter Edda. Photograph by V. Laviosa in Rome.
