[LITERATURE] - A meeting in London with Henry Monteith - TROLLOPE Anthony - Autograph letter signed, dated “Thursday evening”, by the English novelist of the Victorian era. Among the best-known of his 47 novels are two series of six novels each collectively known as the Chronicles of Barsetshire and the Palliser novels, as well as his longest novel, The Way We Live Now. His novels address political, social, and gender issues and other topical matters. Trollope addresses to Henry Monteith, concerning a meeting: “…I shall be at the address above till 9 am tomorrow Friday, and till 9 on Saturday and shall be very glad to see you (…) I mean 9 o’clock in the morning – after that I hardly know where I may be, as I go out of London on each day…”. 2 pp. In-8.
