Manuscript on paper in 8vo (196 x 140 mm), [34] leaves, presumably autograph (?), by Girolamo Frigimelica Roberti containing the sacred tragedy for music “Iefte”, dedicated to the emperor Leopold I of Habsburg. The opera was set to music by Carlo Francesco Polaroli, vice-master of the Ducal Chapel of S. Marco in Venice and performed in Venice, Rome and Vienna between 1697 and 1702. Bound in contemporary vellum. Gerolamo Frigimelica was an Italian architect, librettist and poet.(1)
