Engraved frontispiece, engraved portrait of Pietro Leopoldo Granduke of Tuscany, and engr. dedicatory leaf to him, pp. (4), 238, (2, errata), and 3 further engraved plates. First edition of this scientific work (often quoting Benj. Franklin), also of considerable interest in the alchemy field. Vinci-Verginelli, Bibliotheca Hermetica, p. 83, describes this work in detail, stating that it is unknown in common repertoires.
