[HISTORY] - The Rise of Rome: An Unpublished Manuscript on Roman and Church History - ANONYMOUS. Italy, mid-18th c. Manuscript on paper, folio (275 x 203 mm), text in latin by a single handwriting on two columns, brown ink, various gatherings and loose sheets for a total of altogether 90 leaves. A very interesting study manuscript with numerous corrections and cancellations, the result of continuous revision, probably for the preparation of a more consistent text, likely never published, on the history of Rome and the Church. The present manuscript is sold with an export license from Italy.
