[LITERATURE] - Plutarch’s Ethics: A Renaissance Manuscript of the Moralia (16th c.) - PLUTARCH - “Plutarchi Cheronei ethica, sive moralia opera”. S.n., Italy, half of the 16th c. Folio (260x190 mm.), manuscript on paper, text in latin, early ‘carta rustica’ boards, carefully rebacked, spine covered with marbled paper, original flyleaves preserved with later notes; pp. 273 (numbered by an early hand till p. 260 at upper right corner), the last 4 leaves original blanks. Text lines ruled in blind, script by 2/3 hands in a clear, cursive handwriting in brown ink on 30 lines. Manuscripts of Plutarch works are very rare on the market, even if late. The present manuscript is sold with an export license from Italy.
