Frank Kacmarcik North Central Fine Press Collection with Signed Card, Handmade Paper & Numbered Editions - A distinctive grouping of three North Central Publishing Company fine-press works, highlighted by Frank Kacmarcik artwork and design, handmade paper, numbered editions, and a personally inscribed card from Kacmarcik. Included is A Nativity Sequence by John J. Walsh, based on three Medieval mystery plays, designed by Jane McCarthy with artwork by Frank Kacmarcik. Printed on handmade paper by North Central Publishing Company of St. Paul, Minnesota, this copy is number 62 of 800. Also included is In Days to Come: Pleadings of Man for Peace, designed by Frank Kacmarcik and printed on handmade paper by Alois N. Kronebusch under the direction of Luigi Cocchiarella. Completed December 12, 1969, this copy is number 917 of 1,150. Accompanying the book is a card designed and signed by Kacmarcik with the personal inscription: “Father - I have not forgotten your award certificate! It should arrive not too long after your book review - Frank.” Completing the lot is Fragments of Early Printing by Marjorie Kreidberg, published by North Central Publishing in 1958 and number 53 of 1,000 copies. Some damage is present on the spine.
