Classics. Derech HaShem of the RaMCHaL. First Edition. Amsterdam 1896. Lacking one title page
Fundamental Kabbalistic/Ethical sefer authored by R. Moshe Chaim Luzzato laying out the fundamentals of man’s obligations in this world and his relation to his Creator. A classic sefer it is still widely studied and has been reprinted many times as well as translated into various languages.
R. Moshe Chaim Luzzato (1707 -1746), was born in Padua, Italy into a distinguished family. His genius was obvious from a very early age, and as a young man he was already well known for his complete mastery of the entire Biblical, Rabbinic and Kabbalistic literature. Though most well-known for his Mesilas Yesharim – perhaps the most popular Mussar work in Jewish literature – the main focus in most of his numerous works was on Kabbalah. Until today, his profound works continue to touch and inspire Jews of all groups.
Stefansky Hebrew Classics (475). Leveston-Proops press. 99 pages. 22 cm. Lacking first title page. Overall fine condition. Somewhat worn, stains and markings. Fine binding.
