Aharon Brachia of Modena. With extensive material on these subjects both from an ethical and Kabbalistic perspective. This sefer was received with great acclaim and for generations has been used by The Chevra Kadisha (Burial Societies) in many communities. The title of the sefer is an acrostic for the words Yichud, Berachah and Kedushah. Ma’avar Yabok also refers to the Yabok crossing, the site at which Yaakov Avinu entered The Holy Land which alludes to the “Olam HaNeshamos”. R. Aharon Brachia of Modena (died 1639) was one of Italy’s leading rabbinical figures and Mekubalim. He was a talmid of R. Menachem Azarya of Pano “ReMA Mi’Pano” and was associated with R.
