Chaim Brisker (1853-1918), was the founder of the popular ‘Brisker’ approach to Talmud study, a method of highly exacting and analytical study that focuses on precise definitions and categorizations of Jewish law with particular emphasis on the RaMBaM. Following many years as a Maggid shiur in the renowned Volozhiner Yeshiva, he succeeded his father (Bais HaLevi) as Rav of Brisk. His primary work was Chidushei Rabbeinu Chaim HaLevi; a volume of insights on the RaMBaM, which was published posthumously by his sons. This Sefer is one of the most fundamental works in the Lithuanian school of Yeshivos. Stefansky Classics 150. Y. Klein press. 1, 112 pages. 33.5 cm. Excellent condition.
