CHUMASH TORAS MOSHE. RODELHEIM 1818-1821. NEAR COMPLETE SET. UNIDENTIFIED SIGNATURES. - Set of Chumashim with Yiddish/Deutsch translation and Mincha Chadasha commentary by R. Meir Kalu printed here for the first time. Published by the renowned R. Wolf Heidenheim. Includes the Haftoros as well as a siddur with the Tefillos for Shabbos and appropriate Yotzros at the end of each volume. R. Wolf (Binyamin) Heidenheim (1757–1832) studied at the great Yeshiva of Furth under R. Yosef Steinhardt (Zichron Yosef). Besides Talmudic studies, he devoted himself to the study of Hebrew grammar, and particularly of the Mesorah. In 1782 he began his literary activity which lasted fifty years, and published many important works. He was enormously respected and many Gedolei Yisroel greatly favored “Rodelheim seforim” particularly Chumashim, Siddurim and Machzorim, for their accuracy. Heidenheim press.
