Classic commentary to Maseches Rosh HaShana, Chagigah and Megilah by the renowned Gaon R. Aryeh Leib Ginsberg (The Shaagas Aryeh). R. Aryeh Leib Ginsberg (1695-1785), served as Rav in Volozhin. Among his students from that period were R. Chaim of Volozhin (1749-1821), and R. Refoel Hamburger. While in Volozhin he published his monumental work Shaagas Aryeh. After a dispute with a local landowner he was forced to leave. At the age of 70, he was appointed Rav in Metz where he served until his passing at the age of 90.
