Based on almost all the quotes in Talmud Bavli and Talmud Yerushalmi in the name of R. Shimon Bar Yochai. R. Moshe Kunitz (1774-1837) served as Rav in Offen and Budapest. He was a somewhat interesting personality, as he was a great Talmudic scholar as well as being fluent in secular studies and was familiar with members of the Haskalah. Known as an outstanding Talmid Chochom, he received Semicha from the MaHarShaM. In 1910 he was appointed Rav in Leipzig, Germany where he established a Yeshiva. In 1933 he moved to England where was appointed as Rav of the Machzike HaDass Shul in Manchester where he served with distinction until his passing.
