Collection of Documents - Haredi Kibbutz Mahne Israel - Folder of documents regarding the purchase of lands in Palestine for the Haredi Kibbutz Mahne Israel. The lands were purchased by Agudath Yisrael from the Iraq Petroleum Company. The folder contains letter correspondence between the two parties, and additiomal documents, including handwritten letters in Arabic and Hebrew, and expropriation of Land ordinance. Mahne Israel was planned to be an ultra orthodox Kibbutz, but the attempts to settle it did not succeed. Palestine, circa the 1930s. Approximately 80 documents. Set in the original folder. Good average condition, wear.
