Large New Year Card – Jewish National Farm School, 1905 - Large Shanah Tovah Card of the Jewish National Farm School Kiriath Sefer, that “accepts boys & girls for 30 Egyptian Pounds a year”, written in English and Hebrew. The school was established in 1905 by Israel Belkind, in a land he purchased from the Jewish National Fund, for orphans of the Kishinev Pogrom and other pogroms in Russia. The school operated for several years only, and then closed due to insufficient funds. Dimensions: approximately 24X16.5 cm. Fair condition, losses, tears, stains, creases, wear.
