One photo depicts Aharon Katzir, brother of Israel’s fourth president, Ephraim Katzir - a professor of physical chemistry, President of the Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities, and recipient of the Israel Prize, who was murdered in the Lod Airport massacre. The second photograph shows an unidentified female scientist engaged in her research work. Photographer unknown. Apparently circa the 1950s or 1960s. Approximatelty 35×28 cm. Variable condition, wear.
