Large original oil on canvas that depicts an Alpine range covered with snow by Hungarian Naturalist landscape painter Laszlo Neogrady. This outstanding composition is made with impasto and Neogrady used atmospheric colors to render the depth of the mountains cutting through the blue sky. In the foreground, snow covered pine trees partially hide a frozen stream. Signature on lower right: Neogrady Laszlo. Housed in an elaborately carved wooden frame with an ecru linen mat. Artwork dimensions: 29.50"L x 23.50"H. Frame size: 36.50"L x 31"H x 2"W.
