Antique Majolica Bird on Branch Moon Shaped Pitcher
This naturalistic pitcher leans towards the Aesthetic Movement, emphasizing handcraftsmanship. It features realistic birds perched on branches on either side of the pitcher, both engaged by prey resting on wheat stalks. The shape of the pitcher is moon or barrel-shaped, decorated with highly realistic intertwined branches. Colorized with earth-toned glazes to the exterior and bright blue to the interior.
