Another RARE division 1 engraved sporting button
1 Large size 1 1/4" 18th century running dog silver button. With a hallmark on the reverse and a very heavy large shank this GREAT, Scarce and beautiful engraved silver button sports a running dog beautifully detailed and engraved on the surface. In fine condition, this example would add nicely to any collection. These type buttons have become harder and harder to find especially in this wonderful condition. We were elated when 2 different consignors.? consigned this and two other examples in this auction.
