Four Pieces of Sumida Gawa Pottery
All with drip glaze and figures in high relief, comprising: a jug with two children marked for Inoue Ryosai, a pitcher with a dove and two elders marked for Inoue Ryosai, a short three handled vase with two figures marked for Ban-ni, and a lidded jar with three figures.
Dimensions: Diameters range from 4 1/2" to 7", heights range from 5 3/4" to 9 3/4"
Provenance: Property from a Local Collection.
Condition:
The lidded jar has extensive glued repairs, the pitcher has glued repairs to the handle and side, and the man on the three handled vase is missing a hand, otherwise good condition with minor surface wear.
