Set of Eight Regency Mahogany Dining Chairs
A Set of Eight Regency Mahogany Dining Chairs, First Quarter 19th Century. Each having an upholstered slip seat fastened with a screws from the underside.
Dimensions: Height 33 1/4in; width 17 1/2in; depth of seat 17in; seat height 18 3/4in.
Provenance: Property from a Princeton, New Jersey Collection.
Condition:
Structurally sound. The upholstered slip seats are in good condition overall. Several chairs with heavy sun fading to their backs. Scattered small repairs and reinforcements especially to splats to and where legs attach to seat rails.
