A Coin Silver Teapot, Richard Humphreys, Philadelphia
Circa 1780. the drum form body with a molded and beaded foot below a straight spout and an open wooden handle, the top of the body with beading, all below a conforming lid centered by an urn finial. Script mark as pictured.
Dimensions: 11" x 5", the overall height is 7 3/4". The approximate gross weight is 22.3 troy ounces.
Provenance: Property from the Collection of C. Thomas Attix Jr., East Windsor, New Jersey.
Condition:
The lower handle is slightly pushed in to the body and the finial is slightly crooked.
