The image of Twain in flames is on page 441 and on page 443 the Saint Louis Hotel is pictured. Together with 'The Innocents Abroad, or The New Pilgrim's Progress', American Publishing Company, 1901. 

Dimensions: each volume is 9" x 7". 

Provenance: Mary G. Roebling (1995-1994), Trenton, New Jersey.

Acquired from above by present owner.

Property from a Bucks County, Pennsylvania Collection.

Footnote: Mary G. Roebling (New Jersey, 1905-1994) was the first woman to serve as the head of a major commercial bank in the United States when she became president of the Trenton Trust in 1937.
