Italian Baroque Walnut Credenza, Late 17th / Early 18th Century - An Italian Baroque Walnut Credenza, Late 17th / Early 18th Century. The rectangular molded top with canted corners above a conforming case, fitted with one large drawer, flanked by by two small drawers to the frieze, over two raised paneled doors, enclosing a shelved interior, two shallow cabinets to the either side, above a molded plinth and bracket feet. Dimensions: Height 42in; width 70 3/4in; depth 21 1/4in. Provenance: From the Estate of Bertha Leonard.  Condition: Structurally sound. Evidence of old wood worm throughout. Scattered repairs and reinforcements. Shrinkage and age cracks. Heavy marks, wear, nicks, abrasions, surface scratches and small losses throughout.
