Each having carved giltwood finials to the stiles. Two armchairs covered in 17th Century tapestry. Dimensions: Height of companion pair 60 1/2in; width 27 3/4in; depth of seat 16in; seat height 22in; Height of pair  Condition: With scattered small losses, repairs and reconfigurations to the frames throughout. Typical marks, wear, nicks, abrasions and surface scratches. The two chairs with tapestry upholstery with movement to joints. Two chairs with heavy wear to red velvet upholstery. One of the red velvet upholstered chairs with a break to seat rail.
