The canvas stamped verso 'G. ROWNEY & Co. / LONDON, W. / QUALITY F.' In a period giltwood and gesso frame. Dimensions: 16 1/4 x 21 1/4in; Frame 24 x 28in. Condition: The canvas with minor loss to the lower right quadrant, just above the signature, and compression from the reverse of canvas, otherwise generally good condition overall. The frame with typical marks, wear, nicks and small losses. The frame liner is loose in the frame.
